lyrics

Deep down in Trondheim, north of New Mexico
Way back in the woods among the Joshua’s shadows
there stood a cabin made of earth and wood
where lived a boy named Johnny Bjorn Goode

Go Johnny, go…
Spread the evil through the (Jukes in the) snow
Go Johnny, go…
Playing through the dustbowl

He used to carry his guitar in a coffin sack
Sit beneath the tree by the railroad track
People passing by they would stop and say
“Oh my, that´s Emperor?!” This hellish boy can play

Go Johnny, go…
Spread the evil through the (Jukes in the) snow
Go Johnny, go…
Playing through the dustbowl

Good-bye, good-bye, good-bye, to everything!
Shouted Johnny to the desert winds
Gonna leave my house, my mama and my kin
So I can spread the word “metal is no sin”
Good-bye, good-bye, good-bye, to everything!
Shouted Johnny to the desert winds
I went to the crossroads, fell down on my knees
Satan… take me!

His mother told him “Someday you’ll be a man
And you’ll be the leader of a metal band…
Maybe someday your name will be in lights
Saying “Black Metal Johnny Tonight!”

Go Johnny, go…
Spread the evil through the (Jukes in the) snow
Go Johnny, go…
Playing through the dustbowl

For his new gang, he enrolled two long time partners in crime - Tony the Gun and Claude the Duke and, to complete the set up, Old Boy Kim was dragged out of his pre-retirement.
